Ketamine

Description
Ketamine HCl is a single isomer of ketamine that acts as a noncompetitive N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist. It has wide medical use, including a variety of forms: liquid for injection into humans or animals, an injectable form used in veterinary medicine, as well as the original form developed by Parke Davis, which was for intravenous use in humans. In general, medical uses include induction and maintenance of anesthesia and procedural sedation (including in emergency medicine), pain relief, treatment of bronchospasm, and control of craving and withdrawal symptoms in addicted
